Manila, Philippines – August 12, 2022 — Fil-Am Houston Rockets Guard and adidas Global athlete Jalen Green is back in the Philippines for a private JG4 Manila Tour, and adidas Philippines made sure to give him an experience to remember.
Kicking off the exclusive athlete tour, Jalen visited the adidas Brand Center in Glorietta 3, Makati City— the brand’s biggest store in the country with the widest selection of adidas sports and lifestyle products. In the Brand Center, it was Jalen’s first time to represent the Three Stripes as he faced Filipino media in a Press Conference and met with fans and local athletes in the exclusive Meet and Greet.

During the press conference, Jalen shared that he looks forward to seeing his Filipino fans and going to his family’s hometown to get to know the culture and meet his kababayans.
“It feels great coming here to the Philippines. Everyone gives so much love and support, so to be back and give my love and support means the world to me. I’m just happy to be here,” adidas Rising Athlete, Jalen Green, also added.
Being the true fashion icon that he is, Jalen also donned the recently teased and highly sought-after adidas Crazy 1 “Stormtrooper.” It was also during the press conference where adidas Philippines launched the exclusive and limited edition JG4 Manila Tour tees, which are now available at the adidas Brand Center, adidas Ayala Bay, adidas Two Parkade, and adidas Trinoma.
Following the event at the adidas Brand Center was the main highlight in the JG4 Manila Tour experience: the Jalen Green One of One Tribute: Manila Culture Experience, a brand activation held at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay Podium parking rooftop and 7th floor that gave Jalen a taste of Manila street culture and the communities that represent it.

Marrying everyday Pinoy culture with some of Jalen’s interests, the One of One Tribute brought together aspects of Manila street art, sports cars, sneakers, basketball, Filipino food, and of course, the community. To show off the dynamic art scene of Manila was a special Jalen Green-inspired graffiti mural by adidas Philippines collaborators Quiccs and Egg Fiasco with their local graffiti group, Hidden Fortress Manila. Larger than life and eye-catching upon arrival, the graffiti wall was also complemented by the rows of sports cars that lined up the venue for the appreciation of the attendees and Jalen— a sports car fan himself. As a car enthusiast, Jalen Green entered the Manila Culture Experience in a special unique way via riding his “One-of-One” customized hot pink JG4 Sports Car – the icon of the Jalen tour.
As a tribute to a rising NBA star, the Manila Culture Experience wouldn’t have been complete without showing Pinoy basketball. The halfcourt symbolized Filipino streetball where athletes, consumers, and fans were able to shoot some hoops and showcase some of their moves— eventually being joined by Jalen himself who showed off his dunking skills.
A first for adidas, the brand also treated the attendees with a chance to have their adidas apparel customized at the first-ever Maker Lab pop-up that was available at the tribute. Through the pop-up, attendees were able to design their adidas apparel with limited edition Jalen Green-inspired patches. These patches will also be available at the adidas Brand Center for a limited time.
After receiving a warm welcome from his kababayans at the Brand Center and getting a Manila Culture Experience at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay, the private JG4 Manila Tour continues as adidas helps Jalen reconnect with his Filipino roots.
